| Gypsy Jeans Honored at Indie Fashion Awards |

Orlando, FL and San Francisco, CA December 22 2003--Gypsy Jeans was honored at the third annual Indie Fashion Awards in New York City with the “Best Indie Trendsetter Award” for its patented line of interchangeable jeans.
The Indie Fashion Awards recognizes the talents of independent apparel and accessory designers, as top stylists, models, retailers, manufacturers and buyers pay tribute to the independent designers in the fashion industry. It is a source of inspiration to new designers and an acknowledgment of the established independent designer.
The award is a validation of the recent surge of favorable publicity for Gypsy Jeans. Industry insiders and fashion publications, including Cosmo Girl, Glamour En Espanol and Fashion Mannuscript, are taking notice of the cutting-edge fashion house, running features on the one-of-a-kind jeans.
The uniqueness of Gypsy Jeans is in its patented-design and bold artwork. Each pair of jeans has a separating zipper that runs vertically from the front waistband to the rear waistband, allowing the pants to separate into two ‘halves’ (right and left portions.) The jeans can then interchange with other pairs, creating two totally new looks.
“The trendsetter award truly defines what our jeans are all about,” said Tony Vitaliano, CEO, Gypsy Jeans. “If you look at the indie panel of judges from this year and previous years, getting the nod from highly successful fashion insiders tells me we're right on target. The new Lycra line due out Spring 2004 should really turn some heads.”
The high-status and bold artistic designs provide eye-catching wearable art, giving the wearer a sense of instant fashion savvy. Allison Chancey is the founder and lead designer of Gypsy Jeans.
“I was very excited to learn we had won,” said Chancey. “Everyone is always telling us how cool our jeans are, but recognition from the fashion industry is especially gratifying.”
